An innovative Taping Machine has been developed by Blueprint Technology which provides a semi-automatic solution to the long standing problem of taping of coiled tubes in the healthcare and medical industry.
Lightly pressure sensitive tape strips are automatically sealed around coils of tubing. The pressure sealed paper bands can be printed if required and are easily torn off by medical staff whilst still being strong enough to hold the pack securely.
The new Blueprint Taper uses a new tape feed concept, for which a patent is being applied. Robust components and simple pneumatic operation should ensure a long working life and the system has been designed to operate in clean rooms with a small operating footprint to minimise the use of valuable bench space.
