Banding Machines and bundling machines are different from strapping machines.

Paper and thin film materials (which can be printed), typically 30mm wide, are fed around a stack of products, pulled tight by the banding machine and then heat or ultrasonically sealed, providing endless packaging solutions.

The wide band and choice of materials enables a strong band to firmly hold packs together while not damaging the edges - very important for banknotes, currency, stamps, printed matter, envelopes, medical and pharmaceutical products, for example.

Ultrasonic sealing technology generates heat within the banding material seal area only, so there is no external heat on the product. Consequently, this is the preferred method for medical and pharmaceutical product banding.

Information

It is possible to add actual printed information fully automatically on
the paper and film bands during banding. e.g. EAN-code, customer information, expiring date, article and serial-no., prices and sales, etc...

Paper and film bands can be printed according to your requirements. Therefore a simple standard packaging is not only used for holding together but also for enhancing your product presentation

Difficult shapes

Due to the flexible materials it is no problem to band simple as well as difficult, complex shapes

Inconspicuous

Printed packaging can be banded with transparent films so that the information is not covered or visually spoiled away
